Anyone else dealing with Medical Data Systems harassment over old medical bills?
I’ve been getting nonstop calls from Medical Data Systems for weeks now about a medical bill they claim I owe from years ago. I’ve told them I need proof in writing before I discuss anything, but they just keep calling at all hours. Sometimes it’s multiple times a day and they leave vague voicemails that just say to “call them back immediately.”
I’ve read that this could be a debt collection tactic, but the way they are doing it feels like pure harassment. I’ve even seen stories online about them calling people’s workplaces and family members, which honestly makes me nervous. I don’t even know if the debt they’re talking about is legit or just something they bought from another company.
